I recently got spoiled rotten by being given an Ebosser electric cutting machine by my wonderful other half and his children! What a lucky woman I am! The quality of the embossing is so deep and beautiful, I was amazed, so I set about making a card which could show of the full affects.
This birthday card was simple to make and at around 15mm square, is a lovely size to be able to make a pretty card which can be embellished simply with a few decorations.
I used 300 gsm White Card, using a 220 gsm black card for the backing. Cut 2 lots of White card and added 4mm to the black card to create the backing. I then cut 1 piece each of the white and black card from corner to corner for the front. Cut the medium sized and next size down of Spellbinders Stately Circles in white , using black card as backing to highlight the lovely cut outs, cut out slightly larger black circles using Spellbinders Large Circles. I embossed with WOW! embossing powder in the middle of both circles. Matt the circles together with foam pads. Place the larger circle in the middle of the inside, and the smaller on the edge of the diagonal cut on the front of the card.
I simply embellished with some black Marianne flourish die and some beautiful flowers from my stash.
Very effective, very simply!
