Where Have You Been?

Hello Crafters

I firstly must apologise for my absence, not that I haven’t had time to make cards to share with you, quite the opposite, I have made quite a few, but just have been struggling to get even 5 minutes to share these creations with you, and I have so much I want to share with you too!

One of the reasons time is limited is due to joining the wonderful colouring classes of Kit & Clowder, and you can have a look for yourself here. You can join very simply and you can be like myself, a beginner or advanced and still have loads of fun and support to do something relaxing and worthwhile. Have a peek and should you join, just give my email address to them and you get a discount and so do I, win win all round 🙂

Anyway, here is the first few projects I have done, and I still have so much to learn:

KSC – First Image

The first image I learnt about blending colours, and that is an on going learning curve but loved how simple it was to do, I just need to get plenty of practice.

Kit & Clowder - Girl
KSC – Second Image

My second image I really enjoyed this one, again blending colours but I felt very proud of how the skin tone came out – this is colouring over grey scale and you can buy the image from Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps

KSC – Third Image

This was learning how to colour over grey scale too and this image was from the very talented Tim Jeffs – amazingly talented – and you can visit him here at Intricate Ink.

So I still have lots to share, and when I get more time I can’t wait to show you. For now though I hope you have a wonderful week and don’t get burnt.

Hugs

Gone Fishin’

Hello Crafters

Just a quick drop to show you a quick card that I made for my nephews birthday recently. I bought this stamp as an impulse buy, there was just something about it that really called to me, and I am very glad I did. Don’t you just love silhouettes?

Items Used:

I used Distress Inks with the stencil to the inside of the card and cut the aperture with the die to make the frame. Luckily the Spellbinders die fitted the Clarity Oval Stencil perfectly! It didn’t take long at all but was quite effective.

That’s it from me, hope you enjoy the rest of your week.

Giraffe Birthday

Hello Crafters

Just a quick pop in to say hello, and hope you have had a wonderful bank holiday. Don’t know about you but I am shattered, and feel like I could do with another few days!

Just before the bank holiday I had a birthday card to make for a little lady who was a BIG 6, so I thought that we needed an equally big card for her, so I used the wonderful image of the Giraffe.

I think I managed to fill the tall order! (Don’t groan, I couldn’t resist!). Here’s what was used:

Hope you have a wonderful week of creations

Hugs
