Long time No See !

Hello Crafters.

Well hello there! So sorry that I have been missing in action for so long, was never my intention, but I got a bit waylaid with learning new skills, sort of creative but not the type I intended!

The move all went very smoothly, and the building work was noisy, loud and dirty but it was all worth it to have such a beautiful home. Miss my family not being around the corner but life here is a dream, and we are well on our way to settling in, so I thought it was about time that I returned to the land of blog, and see how all of you wonderful crafter’s are doing and what I may have missed along the way.

I haven’t been doing a lot of card making, so thought I would share my new craft room with you this week. I have lots more top space than I had before, but as we can all relate to, it is never enough!

The first picture shows the room before I attacked it, it is quite long but narrow but my old worktops fitted exactly end to end, so guess you could say it was meant to be! I was lucky enough to receive a lovely door plaque from a friend for Christmas, so that was added straight away, very proud of my craft room!

So now I am just getting back into crafting and hopefully will have something to share with you next week.

Just wanted to say little lad is settling in well too to his new surroundings

His toys never seem to make the basket, they are always too busy being played with to get put away!

One last little thing, here is an altered art that I made for our lovely new home:

Hope you all have a great week, and see you soon…..

  1. Fabulous craft room – and how amazing is it that your work tops fitted exactly!!! Crumbs – you couldn’t have planned for that one!

Thrilled that your little lad is settling in nicely. Kim… if you haven’t already done it, get him a new disc for his collar. Mr. C lost one of our dogs three days after we moved, we he walked them in the woodland next to where we live – fortunately another neighbour (who we hadn’t met before) found him (dog) wandering around and put a lead on him, took him in their house and tried to call us on the metal disc telephone number. Of course … it was our old number! Thankfully they walked him then, looking for a distressed owner, and found me, in tears, in the street, howling my eyes out when I set eyes on my boy. I have never been so thankful to anyone.

But … I’m guessing that you’re far wiser and no doubt onto the case the day after you moved in.
Coo …. that’s never going to happen to me again. sheesh.

I’m so happy that you’re settling so well.
Have a blessed rest of your day. ~ Cobs. xxx

    1. Thanks Cobs, and I would have been the same if that had happened to me! It’s like losing your child! So yes, as I am an organised pain in the butt, he has a nice new shiny tag and we have plenty of beautiful walks to go on, and today is his 3rd birthday, so he has a new toy too! Happy little lad! What are the odds of that top fitting eh? As I said to my other half, we were meant to have this house! Thanks for stopping by. Hugs x
