Exploding 21st Birthday Box

Hello Crafters

Just popping by to share with you my latest box, that was lovingly made for our neighbour, who was turning 21…..what a lovely thing to be……can just about remember!

It took around 8 hours and I honestly cannot remember what I did, when I did it and what I used to make it, all I know is, I was pretty pleased when it was done!

Hope you all had a crafty weekend.

Happy Ellie Birthday!

Hello Crafters

How’s your crafting days going? This week, when I have been getting in from work, I have been sneaking off to my craft room. Unusual for me, as I’m usually sorting bits out ad never seem to get any ‘time’ during the week, but I just went there and played. This resulted in 2 little cards, and a new sort of style for me, felt quite brave actually!

This one was made around a stamp from Woodware, originally bought last year to use on a baby project, and didn’t in the end, as you do. This time I just wanted to try some colouring, so stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black, and coloured with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. Once he was finished, I just had to give him a home, and I have been really trying to use my scraps, so this card was made from all the scrap bits of paper and unused cut-outs from previous projects. I loved him so much, I did another.

…..and of course, equally loved this too! So I now have 2 children’s reserved cards, and I have left the greeting blank inside, so I can fill this out for the occasion when needed.

Hope this made you smile as much as it did me. Have a great week

Son’s 1st Birthday

Hello Crafters

Now before you panic, it definitely isn’t my son I’m talking about! I just wanted to blog about these absolutely cute little creatures that I managed to acquire, and yes I shouldn’t have, but hell I did! Some battles with the devil on your shoulder you just can’t win!

Dies:

These little creatures go together so quick and the only thing is the eyes and nose are very tiny, so you need a good pair of tweezers to pick them up and position them. Just look at those little faces……..! No I’m not broody, long past that stage, but I just love ’em! 🙂

Hope I put a smile on your face to start the week….

Hello Crafters

Posting a bit late this week, am back into the land of scrapbooking, and housework! So so much crafting, so little time!!!

Today I’d like to share a card I made and sent to Malaysia, and the recipient loved it, so I can share it with you now.

I saw a card made with this die on pin interest, and just loved it straight away, just think it’s so pretty!
