18th Birthday

Hello Crafters

Hope you all had a great weekend, and have had plenty of fun times. Mine was one of exploration and new beginnings, with a hint of housework and visitors, you could say a mixed weekend really!

So not a lot of crafting, so I have reverted to a ‘Here was one I did earlier’ moment!

This was a pleasure to make and sent me on a bit of a memory trip…..18…..where did that go! It was for my other half’s great niece, and there’s never a better moment to add a bit of bling and sparkle to an occasion than when it’s an 18th!

On the inside I just had to add a jolly face or two with Spellbinders Emojis to celebrate the moment and they did put a smile to my face, such fun little characters!

The card base was made with Spellbinders Labels 48 Decorative Element, and is it a lovely large die, which makes it perfect for a card base. The glitter Card was cut with Labels 48 and this too is a versatile die. The numbers were cut and embossed with Victorian Numbers and the ‘Happy Birthday’ was from Spellbinders D-Lites Sentiment 1 too

I don’t think my photography skills has done this one justice, but it looked so pretty when it was finished, it really sparkled.

Anyway off now to see if my jelly has set, cos I really fancy some wibble wobble!

Have a great evening

  1. Aw what a magnificent card! I love the colours Kim, and adore the way you’ve made it. It’s kind of fluffy – but not. Kind of frivolous – but not. BIG TIME FUN … and all the other things … which adds up to a very designery looking card.

You’re not a crafter. You’re a CARD ARTIST my friend. You make such amazingly stylish cards and I love them all so very much.
A truly GREAT make Kim. Well done you clever card artist you!
