Hope your weekend has been a happy crafty one. Just a quick one today from me today.
When my Mum was in hospital, she wanted to say thank you to the nurses for the care they gave her, so she asked me to make them a Thank You card.
As you can see it was a simple make using Cheery Lynn Horizon Fishtail Banners. They are really pretty and a good size and will fit in a reasonable sized sentiment too. The backing paper was purchased from The Range, and the stamped sentiment was from Lawn Fawn Script Sayings, so versatile! She was really chuffed with it and so were the nurses!
Next I have a male card I made recently for a birthday which was a simple stamping project too.
This time I used the MFT Stitched Fishtail Banners, and again, good sized dies with plenty of choice to play around with. The music note stamps were free in a magazine, and the paint splats were from Visible Image Ink Splats, Visible Image Play It Loud for the trumpet player and Prima Paint Drips. Distress inks were used for the colour and Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings for the sentiment.
So there you have a couple of cards that were quick and simple, but striking wouldn’t you say.
Have a great evening.
