The Stroke of A Brush!

Hello Crafters

I was so glad when the weekend appeared, I had soooo much I wanted to do, and now, here we are and it’s Sunday evening and I still need at least another 24 hours!!!

I have been quilty of trying a new technique out, as a few years ago while I was at the Olympia crafts show, I bought a stamp set from Stampscapes.  Beautiful good quality stamps, but the demo was shown using a multi coloured ink pad and brayer, and for some reason I never got along with it. I don’t like wasting money so when I came across the stamps hidden in a box, I thought this would be perfect if I could get the hang of it.

I wanted a male card and was fed up of the usual, so I started browsing (fatal as you know), a few hours and several You tube videos later……I was inspired to have a go using inks, card and a brush. This is what I ended up with in no time at all, and I was very proud of myself. If you fancy having a go, pop over to Inkylicious and watch the video, and in no time at all you will be hooked. If you haven’t tried this, then please have a go, it really is fun and the possibilities are endless.

Above the imagine was made using versa inks, with inkylicious brushes and 300 gsm white card. The stamps were from Inkylicious.

Here’s another example:-

Well I finally managed to create the card I was after, it was a birthday card for my brother, so I really wanted it to be different. So after studying the Inkylicious videos, and the Stampscapes videos, here finally is my finished card.
