HB To You!

Hello Crafters

Hope the start of your week has been productive and fun, and you are starting out with a beautiful smile and laughter, as it is always the best way to make you feel good!

Talking about feeling good, the card I have to share with you today makes me feel just like laughing, as whenever I look at it, the thought of the food going everywhere makes me laugh. My son is a chef and works at a million miles an hour (actually he does everything at a million miles an hour!) and this is the image I have of him at work! Obviously, it isn’t like that as I doubt he would be a chef for long if he was, but it just makes me smile when I think of him!

Ingredients:

  • MFT – Stitched Fishtail Banners, All About You Stamp & Die, Recipe For Happiness Stamp & Die
  • CHEERY LYN – Son Die
  • WOODWARE – Hand drawn sentiments
  • VISIBLE IMAGE – Splats

Hope you have a lovely week and keep on smiling!

Hugs

Music Cogs

Hello Crafters

As my previous post was talking about music, I suddenly remembered a card I made for my Nephew, and it was very arty abstract, and as you know I have a love for abstract. Putting this together came from an idea I got in my sleep! Where else!

I do have trouble sleeping and my mind does all sorts of strange things but this one was one of the better things that came out of a sleepless night.

Ingredients:

The guitar was a little bit tricky, but other than the background, the card was all scraps of card, so didn’t turn out bad for scraps!

Have a great week o-crafty-ones!

Let’s Make Music!

Hello Crafters

Well I am getting truly excited as I am off to a craft fair tomorrow and cannot wait. Of course I have been browsing avidly at the new releases and making lists of all that the heart desires, so I shall share what happens next week.

Today I would like to share a card that was made a while ago for my nephew’s birthday. The image I have his one of him as a young lad singing and dancing to 70’s music, obviously a boy with taste, and he has always kept that love of music, so when it was time for his birthday, that happy image of him happily singing at the top of his voice came to mind, hence the card….

Here’s What Was Used:

The background was made from Distress Inks as I haven’t yet purchased any of the Oxide and think I will only replace once mine can’t give me such stunning results!

Well I hope you all have a wonderful happy creative weekend.

Hugs
